Palak Gosht (Spinach with lamb meat)

Palak gosht is a very delicious curry you can cook and serve with warm parathas for lunch or dinner. It has to be cooked in a certain way to achieve perfection and the result is a harmonious combination of the subtle taste of lamb meat, with an earthy flavour of Spinach.
Lamb meat-1/2 lb, cleaned,washed and drained
onions-2 medium, sliced
salt- to taste
red pepper powder-1 tsp
turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
ginger-garlic paste-1 1/2 tsp
Spinach-6 cups, washed and chopped
Method: Mix all the ingredients except the Spinach and pressure cook until the meat gets tender and soft. When the pressure settles, remove the lid and turn up the stove to a high and cook the meat till all the liquid dries up. At this point add the washed spinach and let cook until the leaves get wilted. While the heat is still high, keep stirring carefully until the the meat and the Spinach blend well while the pieces of meat are still intact. Turn the heat to the lowest, cook for 7-8 minutes. Turn off the stove and transfer to a serving bowl. Enjoy!
