Stir-fried Purple Cabbage

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem

This is an easy recipe for a quick curry to be served with warm Rotis or on the side with Daal Chaawal.


Purple Cabbage-4 cups, washed and finely chopped
salt- to taste
red pepper powder- 1 tsp
oil-1 1/2 tbs
curry leaves-5-7
ginger-garlic paste-1 tsp
fresh shredded coconut-1 cup

Method: Mix all the ingredients with the cabbage and set aside. Heat oil and put the curry leaves and wait for a few seconds and add the cabbage that has been mixed with the rest of the ingredients. Cook on high heat for 5 minutes. Reduce the heat to med-low and cook, while stirring in between for another 5-8 minutes. Transfer to a serving bowl and garnish with fresh grated coconut. Enjoy!
