Tomato salad made with plain old onions, mint leaves and cilantro, seasoned with the very old mustard seeds and cumin seeds tastes delish and goes well with any old meat or chicken curry with rotis or rice.

onions-1 small, finely sliced
cilantro- 1 tbs, chopped
mint leaves-1 tbs, finely chopped
salt- to taste

for tempering.,

oil- 1 tsp
cumin seeds-1/2 tsp
mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
asafoetida-1/4 spoon
dry red chillies-3

Method: In a big bowl, put the cubed tomatoes, salt, cilantro, mint, onions, and give it a toss making sure everything gets mixed. Transfer to a serving bowl.
