Stir fried green beans

This lovely green tastes as good as it looks. There is a little trick you need to do to keep the brilliant green brilliant:) Roast the washed and cut beans with a tiny bit of oil and plunge them into cold water. This way, the raw smell of beans disappears and the color is retained. Rest follows.,


Cut Green beans-1 cup, roasted and plunged into cold water
Tomato-1 medium, cut into big chunks
Salt- to taste
Onions-1/2 sliced length-wise
Oil- 2tbs
Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
Water-1/4 cup

To be ground....
Peanuts-8 nos
Garlic-1 pod
Cumin seeds-1/2 tsp

Method: Roast the beans and plunge them in cold water and drain the water and set the beans aside. Heat oil in a pot and add the beans, salt, turmeric powder,the ground mixture and onions along with water and cook until the beans are cook on high heat. When the water is all absorbed, add the tomatoes and cook briefly and turn off the stove. Enjoy!
