Lamb meat in tomato gravy

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem

This is a tangy tomato sauce with lamb meat (bones included) cooked to a smooth perfection. It goes well with plain white rice or hot parathas off of the griddle:)

Lamb meat-1 lb
Onions-1 large, sliced
Ginger-garlic paste-1 1/2 tsp
Salt-to taste
Turmeric powder-1 tsp
Red pepper powder-1 tsp
Oil-2 tbs
Tomatoes-5,pealeld and chopped
Potatoes-2, peeled, washed and cubed
Water-2 cups
Corn starch-1 1/2 tsp

To garnish..

Chopped cilantro-2tsps
Green pepper-3 slit and cut into two halves

Trim fat from the meat and wash in cold water. Put the meat, onions, salt, pepper powder, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, oil, onions and pressure cook until soft and turn the stove off. Wait for the pressure to go down and carefully remove the lid, turn the heat on high and add the tomatoes and cook until the tomatoes get soft and mushy. Keep stirring, making sure the meat dosent get separated from the bone. At this point add the potatoes and cook until the potatoes get half cook. Add water to get desired consistency and let the whole soup boil one time. Mix the corn starch in half a cup of water and pour it into the soup and stir. Reduce the heat and cook for five minutes and transfer to a serving bowl and garnish with chopped cilantro and green pepper. Enjoy!
