Khadi masoor ki daal can be cooked in less than ten minutes if cooked in a pressure cooker or ten minutes if cooked in a pot. This is one of the things i cook, when i cant decide what to coo lol! Heres what we are gonna need....
Masoor ki daal- 1/2 cup( washed)
Oil- 1 tbs
turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
red pepper powder-1/2 tsp
ginger garlic paste- 1/2 tsp
chopped dill leaves- 1 tsp for garnishing
Method: Heat oil in a pressure cooker and add onions and sautue until light brown. Add ginger garlic paste and stir until it gets a little bit brown. Then add the washed daal, salt, turmeric powder, pepper powder, and water and pressure cook until you hear one whistle and turn off the stove. After a few minutes remove the lid and make sure all the water is absorbed and the daal is cooked but not mushy. At this point, transfer into a serving bowl and garnish with chopped dill leaves. Enjoy!
